Mechanics, one of the most widely used concepts of physics, also happens to be the biggest topic taken under discussion in the G. C. E. Advanced Level Local syllabus. This book is a supplementary, yet concise guide to this significant branch of physics, designed in such a way that any student of varying intellect can effectively grasp the subject matter. This volume, aptly titled “MOVING ON,” takes the student on an extravaganza of Mechanics, unlike any other product of the sort available in the market. In fact, this book, being the second installation of the series of textbooks published by LivePhysics, fills the void in the availability of a comprehensible, reliable and complete textbook for the English Medium Advanced Level Local Physics syllabus.

Description
ContentMechanics, one of the most widely used concepts of physics, also happens to be the biggest topic taken under discussion in the G. C. The goal of the book is to not only teach physics principles but also to prepare the reader to confidently face the advanced level physics exam. To this end, the book offers adequate practice questions and questions taken from previous exams to give the student a comprehensive idea of how they will be tested on this topic. It also emphasises giving the learner exercises to complete in conjunction with the theory in order to improve their capacity for critical thought and problem-solving. I am confident that the student will become competent to face the Advanced Level exam and to apply the general concepts of physics to daily life by making effective use of this book series.A book that is a guide targeting the Advanced Level Physics students should help them understand the concepts and provide the necessary support required to answer questions based on the grasped knowledge via critical thinking and understanding. Thus this book will take the reader through not only the theory concepts of Electronics but also on an in-depth analysis including examples of everyday life applications which will help the reader to get a comprehensive understanding on the unit as they reach the completion of the theory section as they go through the evolution of semiconductor physics that lead to the creation of JFETS, MOSFETS, Flip-Flops and putting forward the golden rules, with exercises which includes handpicked questions to benefit the reader not only in the upcoming examinations but also in their day-to-day life. This book consists of an in-depth look into the fluid mechanics sections in the G.C.E. Advanced Level Physics syllabus. The reader is expected to be familiar with Ordinary Level Mathematics and Science knowledge to grasp the knowledge and concepts included in this book. The main objective of this book is to provide an understanding of these concepts and the role they play in everyday life from the perspective of a student. This is the 6th and final book of unit II, Mechanics, which is a book in a series that covers the entire Advanced Level Physics syllabus. The aim of the book is not only to explain the concepts of physics but also to prepare the reader to face the advanced-level physics examination confidently. Hence the book contains sufficient practice questions as well as questions extracted from examinations of past years to provide an adequate understanding of how the student will be questioned in this unit. It also focuses on presenting exercises to the student in conjunction with the theory so as to enhance the critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills of the student. I am confident that by utilizing this book series efficiently, the student shall gain competence to face the Advanced Level exam as well as to apply the general concepts of physics to everyday life. This book is a very basic introduction to Measurements, one of the most important aspects of physics. It is designed for G.C.E. Advanced Level students or anyone with G.C.E. Ordinary Level understanding of mathematics and science. To refer this book no prior understanding of physics is required. The main objective of this book is to help students think about the world of physics in terms of measurements. This is the first book of a series of books covering the entire syllabus of Advanced Level physics. In the near future, books will be available for the other units; Mechanics, Oscillations – Waves – Sound and Light, Thermal Physics, Fields, Current Electricity, Digital Electronics, Properties of Matter and Matter and Radiation. Later, a single book will be available, which would include all the above-mentioned units.
